Officers and men of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Quorra visited the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Operational Base in Kirikiri, Lagos, on a study tour aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two organisations and enhancing their understanding of Nigeria's maritime regulatory framework.

The delegation was received by NIMASA's Director of Marine Environment Management, Dr. Oma Ofodile, who reaffirmed the agency's commitment to sustained inter-agency cooperation in promoting maritime safety, security and environmental protection across Nigeria's maritime domain.

The study tour focused on maritime laws, safety regulations and NIMASA's statutory responsibilities as part of efforts to deepen collaboration in safeguarding the nation's waters and supporting the growth of the marine and blue economy.
